For effective hearing protection at medium and high noise levels, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 earmuffs. The ear cups feature innovative foam inserts and spacers that increase noise attenuation and improve protection against low-frequency noise.
Depending on user preference or application requirements, helmet-mounted versions are available either with dielectric insulation or with robust metal brackets.
The X4 series is color-coded bright green for easy identification of protection level. Combining 3M’s hearing protection expertise with advanced technology, the cushions use specially designed spacers and foam inserts to improve noise reduction without adding bulk or weight. X4 earmuffs are lighter and more streamlined compared to other high-attenuation models, while still reducing noise by up to 32 dB.
The headband model features an electrically insulated dual headband, and the steel wire with plastic coating ensures high durability. The wide flat headband with soft plastic covering provides even pressure on the head. The absence of exposed metal makes the product dielectric, providing protection against electric current in environments with risk of sparks or electrical charge.
Carefully designed sliders allow easy adjustment on the head. Wide soft foam cushions ensure comfort, while narrow cups improve compatibility with other PPE.
The helmet-mounted version is available with dielectric protection (P5) or without electrical insulation (P3), as well as in a headband version. Cushions and foam inserts can be easily replaced using Hygiene Kits, extending product service life.
