For effective hearing protection against low to moderate noise levels, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X1 earmuffs. Their lightweight design with low-profile cups is suitable for environments where excessive protection is not required. The first level of protection in the X1 series is color-coded green, making it easy to select the correct protection level.
The headband model features an electrically insulated dual headband that reduces heat buildup on the top of the head. The steel wire headband with plastic coating makes it very durable and comfortable. The flat, wide headband with soft plastic covering ensures stable pressure on the head.
The absence of exposed metal makes these earmuffs dielectric, providing electrical protection in areas with risk of sparks or electrical charge. Carefully shaped guides allow easy adjustment on the head. Wide soft ear cushions improve comfort, while narrow cups ensure compatibility with other PPE.
A helmet-mounted version P5 is available with the same dielectric protection as the headband model. If electrical insulation is not required, P3 helmet and neckband versions are available. Ear cushions and foam inserts can be easily replaced using hygiene kits, extending the service life of the earmuffs.
